SAfAIDS and ZAN invite Government Representatives, People Living with HIV, HIV and AIDS activists, AIDS Service Organisations, Community Based Organisations, Private Sector Organisations, Faith Based Organisations, Health Institutions, and other stakeholders working in HIV and AIDS to this important meeting.

Objectives of the Discussion Forum:

  • To inform those who did not have the opportunity to attend the Mexico International AIDS Conference about the latest developments in HIV and AIDS, in order to influence policy and practice in Zimbabwe
  • To share best practices from other parts of the world and facilitate replication with adaptation in Zimbabwe
  • To start building the capacity of civil society for future international conferences

 

This Discussion Forum will consist of a PLENARY followed by BREAKAWAY sessions focusing on Children, Women and Gender, Clinical Research, Youth, PLHIV, Faith Based Responses and Workplace Programmes.

An Exhibition of materials and posters presented in Mexico will be showcased. Organisations are encouraged to bring their poster presentations and abstracts for the exhibition
