The Media Resource Desk is a one-stop shop for journalists and other media practitioners to access quick, accurate and user-friendly information on HIV and AIDS prevention, care, treatment and mitigation. The desk acts as a focal point for any inquiries on HIV and AIDS information by the media, as well as a gateway for SAfAIDS to channel HIV and AIDS information to the media. |
|
| The purpose of the Media Resource Desk is to bridge the HIV and AIDS information gap that exists among journalists and other media practitioners. The Media Resource Desk is essential in order to attend to the information needs of journalists on a full time basis, through availing appropriately packaged, ready to use information products and resources. The Media Resource Desk is intended to provide a quick and efficient service to the journalist. |
